Mmmm, Friday . . . We finally get to lay back and relax a little. And what better way to lay back and relax than outside! This week, I’ve been Summertime dreamin’ (ya know, like California dreamin’) about all the ways I want to dress up my patio, all the cocktails I want to try to make, and all the fun prints and patterns I’ll be wearing. It’s supposed to be a sunshine-filled weekend here in Dallas (aside from today) and I plan on spending a lot of time outside on the patio and setting aside some time for my June goal. Here’s a few links that have been inspiring me lately. Enjoy!

Favorite Dinner Party: Camille Styles’ blog is one that I check on the reg. From wellness and beauty to entertaining and recipes, that blog’s got it all! And even though I’m not a great cook, her brunch and dinner party posts always get my mouth watering! They threw a beach-inspired dinner party for Memorial Day and it’s definitely my favorite! With a “bare feet required dress code” and a coconut/coral/seashell centerpiece, I think the whole thing was on point. Plus, the Hawaiian Smashed Sliders and Banana Coconut Rum Slushies look super tasty!
Happy Friday my friends! Starting today, I’m going to close out the week by sharing a few of my favorite links. I’m a pretty big fan of Fridays, and there’s nothing like a little inspiration to jumpstart the weekend!
I hope you are inspired by these Friday Favorites for fun-filled weekend.

Favorite Reno: Leave it to Elsie of A Beautiful Mess to make me drool all over my laptop. Seriously, she’s like an interior designer fairy, and I want all of her magical dust! How freakin’ beautiful is this bathroom?! Check out the before/after here.
Summer is just around the corner and for many of us, that means planning a much-needed vacay with some fun in the sun! But with everyone’s busy schedule and long to-do lists, actually getting out to the coast can seem like just a pipe dream. To feel the sun shining down on our skin and breathing in that refreshing salty air . . .
So if you can’t find the time to make it out to the coast, why not bring the coast to you!
When you think of California, the words casual, chill and totally laid-back come to mind. Surprisingly sophisticated and always inviting, rooms designed with that same mentality are some of my favorite. And the ‘California Cool’ vibe is definitely having a moment in 2017’s design world.
To help you snag that oh-so-popular Bohemian luxe aesthetic, I’ve broken down some key elements to incorporate into your home for instant Cali vibes. From colorful textiles to organic pieces of furniture, add some of these coastal twists to your home. Add the best part? You can pull off the look even if you’re hundreds of miles from a shoreline.
Decorating Ideas: Bring The ‘California Cool’ Vibes Into Your Home
A simple way to get those Springtime vibes poppin’ is by bringing a little life into your space. And nothing adds more life to your home like fresh flowers and potted houseplants. But, let’s be honest: When it comes to gardening, not all of us are blessed with a green thumb . . . While I haven’t always been particularly gifted when it comes to keeping my plants alive, I love the look of potted plants hanging and gathered on windowsills with gorgeous leaves spilling over the side. Plus, houseplants can clean the air, brighten up your space and can even fill your home with good energy! Keeping the plants alive is key, though . . .
More often than not, we find that our green thumbs just don’t live up to our expectations. Especially when it comes to indoor plants, which can be tricky to keep alive. The good news, though, is that there are a significant number of plants out there that aren’t quite as hard to provide a healthy, happy life! More and more people are filling their homes with contemporary to eclectic varieties of houseplants ranging from elongated and super stylish snake plants to floating green orbs that barely seem like plants at all.
From contemporary snake plants to eclectic and fun string of pearls, the gorgeous greenery options are endless. Get ready to add a little life to your space and be a plant murderer no more! Here are eleven more plants that are easy to keep alive for just about anyone.
